How do I set OLO Dialer as the default Phone app?
Open OLO Dialer and follow the Default Phone prompt. You can also open Android Settings → Apps → Default apps → Phone app and select OLO Dialer. Exact labels vary by manufacturer.
Why is the after-call screen or caller card not appearing?
Confirm that Phone/Call Log permissions, notifications and “Display over other apps” are enabled. On some Vivo, iQOO, Xiaomi, Oppo, Realme and OnePlus devices, also allow Auto-start and remove strict battery restrictions. If Android blocks the popup, OLO Dialer can use a notification fallback when notification permission is granted.
Why did a follow-up reminder arrive late or not ring?
Allow notifications and alarms/reminders where your Android version exposes those settings. Disable battery restriction for OLO Dialer and allow background activity. Device power-saving modes can delay background delivery.
Does OLO Dialer automatically send SMS?
No. OLO may prepare text and open your messaging app with the number selected. You review the text and tap Send yourself.
Does OLO Dialer record calls?
The current app does not capture call audio. It can access compatible recordings created by your device Phone app after you explicitly select that folder. Availability and matching depend on the phone manufacturer, filename and metadata.
Why are some recordings not matched to a contact?
Manufacturers use different filenames and metadata. Make sure the correct folder is connected and the recording contains a recognisable phone number, contact name or call timestamp. OLO avoids showing uncertain matches to the wrong contact.
How do I protect my leads before changing phones?
Open OLO Dialer Data Safety and create an encrypted backup. Store the file safely and remember the password; OLO India cannot recover it. Audio recordings and Android system contacts/call logs are not included.
What should I send with a crash report?
Send phone manufacturer/model, Android version, OLO Dialer version, whether it is the default Phone app, the screen used, exact steps, and a screenshot. Do not send private call recordings or customer data unless strictly necessary and authorised.
Support availability
Email requests are reviewed on Indian business days. Response time depends on issue complexity and current support volume. Calling and emergency issues should be handled through your mobile carrier or device manufacturer when they originate outside OLO Dialer.
